Library Support Initiative in Senegal

In January 2025, Reading Across Borders launched an ongoing initiative to furnish and equip the library at Lycée Coumba Diack Gueye de Khombole in Senegal, in collaboration with our Africa Region board member, Assy Diallo. We quickly mobilized resources to provide essential educational tools, including books, laptops, printers, video projectors, maps, and dictionaries. In June 2025, we further supported the school by donating a collection of books along with a $2,500 contribution to help them purchase additional learning materials based on their specific needs.
