Donation helped Transforming a dilapidated, thatched structure in the Senegalese village of Khombole into a fully functional brick-and-mortar school.
Andrew Huang, founder of the Reading Across Borders, played a pivotal role in fundraising efforts that transformed a dilapidated, thatched structure in the Senegalese village of Khombole into a fully functional brick-and-mortar school. In June 2023, Andrew travled to Senegal with his French teacher Madam Seye and his classmate to see the classroom they help built and continue donated school supplies, computers and cash to the students there. To see how the chidren there learning with hope, Andrew decided to found the Reading Across Borders to help more children in the whole world.
